BIOGRAPHY

An abstract artist who works from her private studio in in Austin, Texas. Erin attended college and earned her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009.

 

“Abstract art wasn't something I ever intended to do; in fact, I had never picked up a paint brush prior to 2017. 

 

I have always had such admiration for the way a beautiful piece of art can give life to a space. I especially love mixing styles, and am always in awe of how a contemporary piece can turn a traditional room on its head. 

 

I started painting in the guest studio above my garage- partly as a quick escape from the day-to-day grind, but also as a therapeutic release. This soon turned into a full-fledged passion and I have been painting and refining my style since. 

 

I love the quiet nature of painting and rarely even listen to music while I'm working. I mostly rely on my imagination and the thoughts in my head to help lead the brush where it needs to go. 

 

I find inspiration for my work in my every day life: reading design blogs, drawing on memories from nature, or more simply- from tuning in to raw emotions and feelings.
